In this episode, I talk about how to set goals so that it would be easier to achieve your goals. And at the end I talk a bit about knitting.
My name is Johanna and I'm a Therapist that Knits.
I come to you from Finland.
I'm a Solution Focused Brief Therapist and a Sexual Counselor.
I provide online therapy to people in Finland and Europe.
My email is: [email protected]
It's good to set goals that are:
1. Specific (what you do, how you do it?)
2. Measurable (how do you measure progress, how long do you do it?)
3. Attainable / realistic (is it something you are capable of doing now?)
4. Relatable (is it something you value, is there some gain for you to do it?)
5. Time-based (deadlines help you to do things)
evaluate process, change course when needed
++ reward your self :)
Knitting related things I mentioned in this video:
1. Sock: no pattern.
2. Yarns used in the socks: Opal, colours Früchtetee (11122) and Beere (9938).
3. Beanie: pattern only in Finnish. Pattern is called Käänteinen ("reversible").
4. Sweater: my first sweater, I used my own design.
5. Yarns used in the beanie and the sweater: Drops Alpaca, 100% Alpaca, 50 g = 167 m. Colours: Rust (2925), Dark gray (506) ja Maroon (3650).
6. Book: Cheryl Brunette’s Sweater 101. It helped me design and make my first sweater for myself.
7. Videos: Cheryl Brunette’s ”How to Make a Sweater” (parts 1-15). I used these to make my first sweater for a friend’s baby.
8. Craft fair: Finnish Craft and Design Fair (in Finnish called Suomen kädentaitomessut). They are held in Tampere in the middle of November.
Music: Sugarbee - Chris Haugen
Next episode I will talk about values and show my favourite scarf.
Thanks for watching!
Until next time!
