in this video i have explained How a boy who lived in orphanage, worked as domestic help and delivery boy became a civil servant.
B. Abdul Nasar lost his father at the age of five, and with his mother working as a house cleaner, he and his siblings were forced to spend 13 years in an orphanage in Kerala.
His childhood was marked by hardship, as he started working by the age of ten, taking up small jobs like cleaning and delivery work to support his family.
Along with his studies, he continued to work multiple jobs such as delivering newspapers, tutoring other students, and working as a phone operator to manage expenses.
Eventually, he secured a job as a clerk in the state health department, which for many would have been a final achievement, but for Nasar it was only a starting point.
With no money or time to prepare for the UPSC exam, he chose a different path and focused on being the very best at his job.
Through honesty, hard work, and dedication, he earned recognition in his department and steadily rose through promotions over the years.
After more than two decades of service, his outstanding record led to his promotion into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 2017.
His story shows that success can be achieved through resilience and persistence, but it also highlights how unequal opportunities make talented people take much harder, longer routes to reach their dreams.
