1998-2002 Ford Expedition won't come out of PARK - Here's the problem! I have the Solution!

Описание: It is apparently a common problem with the 1998-2002 Ford Expeditions that the front windshields may leak onto the interior fuse box. If you notice that the windshield wipers are sporadic or doesn't work, The power windows are sporadic or doesn't work, and the radio may or may not function when in drive. (in my case the radio worked in park and neutral, but cut off in drive or reverse). Then when you park the car, it may not come out of PARK. If this occurs, check the 5 AMP fuse in the interior fuse box located under the drivers side dashboard.

The fuse while only a 5 AMP fuse connects the windshield wiper relay, power window relay, and is also connected to the transmission sensor which for safety reasons will not come out of PARK.

Check this first, I can almost guarantee you that this is the problem.

This is a $1.49 fix that could save you hundreds on towing and possible repairs trying to locate the problem at the dealership.
