About this video: After two separate instances of MBTA locomotives rescuing Amtrak Downeaster trains in 2025, I thought it might be cool to put together a compilation of similar instances (including the recent ones) throughout the years. Details about the clips in this video are listed below.

10th train: MBTA GP40MC-3 1129 leads Amtrak Downeaster 695 through Plaistow, NH + Wells and Portland, ME with switching operations in Brunswick, ME on 5/24/2025
