1. Salman Acquitted: Then Who Killed Noor Ullah on 28 September 2002?
The Bombay High Court on Thursday acquitted Bollywood megastar Salman Khan of all charges in the September 28, 2002 hit-and-run case.
Delivering the much-awaited verdict, Justice A.R. Joshi said that the actor “cannot be convicted” on the basis of the evidence produced by the prosecution in the 13-year old case and trial.
2. 2012 Park Street Rape Verdict: Court Finds All Accused Guilty
The second fast track sessions judge in Kolkata, Chiranjeev Bhattacharya has held all five accused guilty in the 2012 Kolkata Park Street rape case. The punishment will be announced tomorrow. Two of the five accused are absconding, including the main accused.
The ghastly gang-rape in a moving car on Park Street in February 2012 had shocked the city. Suzette was brutally assaulted and then thrown on the road in the dead of night.

The average weekly PM 2.5 concentration in Delhi’s air was 230.9 micrograms per cubic metre (µg/m³), giving it a ‘very poor’ rating of air quality under the guidelines of the Central Pollution Control Bureau (CPCB). Beijing, by comparison, recorded a PM 2.5 concentration of 139.7µg/m³ during the same period
