In this video, I show you how to slowly brighten and smoothly dim a light in Home Assistant using Node-RED with the Sonoff Mini-Dim.

We answer an important question first:
👉 Does the Sonoff Mini-Dim work with Sonoff LAN? ❌ Not yet
👉 Does it work with the Matter integration? ✅ Yes!

Using Node-RED, we create a clean and flexible flow that:

Gradually increases brightness (fade-in)

Slowly dims the light (fade-out)

Avoids harsh on/off transitions

Works perfectly with Matter devices in Home Assistant

I also include a flow simulation using a Sonoff 4-Button Zigbee remote, where:

Each button triggers a preset brightness level
