Cyberpunk spread to film, TV, and games. Blade Runner (1982), Akira (1988), Ghost in the Shell (1995), and The Matrix (1999) explored cybernetic enhancements, virtual reality, and societal decay. Games like Deus Ex, Cyberpunk 2077, and Syndicate let players traverse neon-lit streets, corporate intrigue, and morally ambiguous urban landscapes. Today, cyberpunk continues to inspire music, visual art, and ambient soundscapes that capture the tension, beauty, and melancholy of technology-driven dystopias.
