In this week’s video, my Land Rover Defender gets a brand-new heart – a 250hp Mercedes OM606 engine fitted by the experts at @DieselPumpUK With the upgrade complete, we put the Land Rover straight to work, hooking up a farm plough and heading out to the field to see what it can really do! 🚜💨
As a thank you to Luke at Diesel Pump UK, we also lend a hand with his latest project – moving a pleasure boat he’s just bought. With the help of my friend and fellow YouTuber @TruckerTim , we transport the boat on his lorry before unloading it with my Foden crane lorry onto Luke’s trailer at the workshop. Then Luke shows us around the boat, and together with Jack we even manage to get the engine running for the first time in years! ⚓🔧
It’s a proper mix of engineering, farming, haulage and fun – hope you enjoy it!
