A Minnesota man was sentenced to nearly 50 years in prison for two brutal sexual assaults, one against a mentally disabled girl and another against a 57-year-old woman who escaped by pretending to be dead. DNA evidence linked him to both crimes, and a jury found him guilty. However, a new Minnesota law, citing his age under 18 at the time of the crimes, grants him a parole hearing after just 15 years.
