Punjabi Pakora/Pakoda Kadhi or Kadhi Pakora is a deep fried fritters (Pakoras) dunked in a yogurt based curry. There
are so many types of Kadhi we makes in India like Gujarati Kadhi, Rajasthani Pakoda Kadhi, Punjabi Pakoda Kadhi etc. Pakoda kadhi goes best with Rice, Khichdi or Roti Paratha. There are so many ingredients used in Pakora Kadhi but all ingredients are easily available in our kitchen.
Ingredients:
To Make Pakora:
1-1/2 Cup Gram Flour
1 Chopped Onion
1 Green Chilly
1/2 Cup Fresh Coriander
1 tsp Ginger Chilly Paste
1/2 tsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Carom Seeds
Water as Required
1 pinch Baking Soda
1 tsp Hot Oil
To Make Kadhi:
1 Cup Curd
1/4 Cup Gram Flour
2 Cups Water
1 tsp Ghee
1/4 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
4-5 Curry Leaves
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
2 Dry Red Chillies
1 Chopped Onion
1 tsp Ginger Paste
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
1/4 tsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
Water
Salt to Taste
Fresh Coriander
1/4 tsp Dry Mango Powder
For Final Tadka:
2 tsp Ghee
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
4-5 Curry Leaves
3 Dry Red Chillies
2 tbsp Onion
1 tsp Garlic Paste
1 Green Chilly
1/4 tsp Carom Seeds
1/2 tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves
1/4 tsp Red Chilly Powder
1/4 tsp Coriander Seeds
Garam Masala
