Описание: To say that immigrating to the U.S. is an adjustment ... is an understatement. Almost as soon as you get to the U.S., you have to navigate starting or finding a new job, finding a place to live, and buying car -- among many other things. The same goes for your finances. How do you apply for a credit card with no U.S. credit history? What’s a 401K? And how do you prepare a tax return?

The good news: There’s an app for that. We scoured the internet to find the best financial apps and websites to help manage your money.

Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons for each app:
1. Finhabits: https://www.finhabits.com/
PROS

It’s bilingual, you don’t need to visit a bank to set it up (it’s all done online), and it sets you up with personal goals.

CONS

Finhabits charges you a monthly fee of $2 a month if you have $2500 or less. If you’re an experienced investor, you might want more flexibility than Finhabits can afford you.

2. Myra Wealth: https://myrawealth.com/
PROS
It’s a fiduciary company, which means it’s duty-bound to tac in your best interest for a flat fee and NOT for commission. It has individualized assistance and primary helps with financial management and tax prep.

CONS
Myra Wealth doesn’t have an app - so you have to use it through its website. Also, costs depend on the service you select, there’s no flat fee for this one.

3. Nova Credit: https://www.novacredit.com/
PROS
It’s free! The site has really clear answers to most of your questions.

CONS

Because it’s a B2B company, you might have limited choices on which credit cards or services you choose. If you’re accepted by a Nova Credit partner you still have to build US credit and this process takes time - like years. Not all countries are supported by NOVA for the international credit report.

4. Remitly: https://www.remitly.com/us/en
PROS
It serves a lot of countries, and the app is well designed and easy to use.
You get rewards through Remitly, the more you use it, the more you save.

CONS
Some countries aren’t available, and there are daily and monthly limits on how much money you can send.

5. Propel: https://www.joinpropel.com/

PROS
The app is user friendly, it helps people control spending and their budgets, and it provides digital coupons that are easy to redeem

CONS
Immigrants should seek advice before using certain public benefits - like food stamps. The public charge rule - which is currently under review by the Biden administration, penalizes green card applicants if they’re likely to use public assistance.
