♫MISSION 2 BGM (Top Gun: The Second Mission) SNES Arrangement - NintendoComplete

Описание: This is an arrangement of the second stage's BGM from Konami's 1990 NES game Top Gun: The Second Mission. I have arranged it for native playback on SNES hardware, and the audio was recorded directly from a launch-model SNES console.

I wanted to go hard with something by Konami, and I have been itching to redo this one for a very long time. This was actually the first NES song I ever covered, but the original attempt... well, let's just say that it sounded like my first attempt. It seems that I've since learned enough to now be able to follow through on what it was that I had wanted and tried to do the first time. Yay, progress :)

I wasn't trying to necessarily mimic the Konami sound (there's no baby-making slap bass here), but I was aiming to give the NES track some over-the-top, arcade-style flair. In that vein, though know I've said it about a million times before, man, I really love orchestra hits. And gated snares. The guitars were also pretty fun to put together on this track.

Top Gun 2 seriously has one of the most underrated Konami NES soundtracks. If you haven't heard it before, I highly recommend you go have a listen.
