fünkaphobia - Blade In The Lawn (All Circulating Tracks)

Описание: fünkaphobia is a New Jersey from the 80s, consisting of Jeff Rusnak, Dean Bruni, Mike Stand McGrath and Daniel Brewer. Their sound consisted of a lo-fi funk and jazz rock style.
In late 1986 they released a cassette tape on Rusnak's cassette imprint BirdO'Pray Records (the same label that Ween got their start on). However, unlike other releases on the label, this tape has never been released onto the internet in full, and due to its rarity seems inaccessible to those who don't already have a copy.
Three tracks from this tape appeared on a trio of compilation cassettes that BirdO'Pray put out from 1985 to 1987, all three of which have surfaced on the now-inactive Ween Archived channel, which is how I first heard them. I found them to be a step up musically from a lot of BirdO'Pray's output and wanted to hear more, but sadly I have been unable to find a copy of Blade In The Lawn. Instead, I've decided to put together as many tracks from it that are current circulating, so they are all in one place.

The photo used in this video is the only picture of the band I was able to find anywhere. Also, I managed to dig up a basic description of the tape from a scan of a 1988 BirdO'Pray catalogue:
