This is how I removed a jammed, waterlogged wooden rod that had expanded inside a metal pipe buried in the ground. I tried multiple methods that failed before finally getting it out using a lag bolt, ratchet strap, and car jack. It took patience, repeated cuts, and a lot of effort, please do not take this as a tutorial, and don't try this!
