Nintendo planned to release more e-Reader Cards series (3 and 4) but due to the low sales of e-Reader, the cards were never released. However, some data is still inside the game, ready for be unlocked with "future" hypothetical cards. There is a lot of unused data like enemies, items, animations, switches... Even two more floors in the World-e Castle (could have been more playable levels).
Switch Cards never released:
0:56 1UP Mushroom Switch: 3 × 1UP Mushrooms
0:25 4000 Points Switch: Enemies gives 4000 points
3:15 Double Health Switch: Double health bosses
3:59 Floating Platform Switch: Raises when fall down a pit
1:34 Item Box Switch: Random item box
5:28 Luigi's Replay Switch: Luigi replaces Mario in replays
1:34 Two Hits Switch: Two hits to lose
