Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas cannot move forward until the names of the hostages being held in Gaza were released.
In a post on X through the Israeli Prime Minister account, Netanyahu wrote "We will be unable to move forward with the framework until we receive the list of the hostages who will be released, as was agreed. Israel will not tolerate violations of the agreement. Hamas is solely responsible."
The ceasefire is set to go into effect on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. local time. Phase one of the agreement includes the release of 33 hostages in exchange for hundreds of Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons.
