The scene opens at dawn in Juliet's bedroom, where Romeo and Juliet, having spent the night together after their secret wedding, are sharing a tender moment. Romeo tries to convince Juliet that he must leave for his own safety, as he's been banished from Verona for killing Juliet's cousin, Tybalt, in a duel. 😢🏰💔

Juliet turns to her Nurse for comfort, hoping for some guidance, but even she advises Juliet to marry Paris, adding to her heartache. 😢💔🙅‍♀️
