In this video I begin arguably the most ambitious adventure of my life. Vänern is Sweden's largest lake, and the 3rd largest in all of Europe. Paddling a full loop involves over 500km battling against wind and waves. This lake is more like an inland sea, comparable to the Great Lakes of the United States. This is the first part of that adventure, starting out just outside Karlstad and heading East towards Kristinehamn.
