It used to be a mess to drive in Shanghai: no one follows traffic rules, people cut off each other, cars drive on wrong places or parked at wrong places, etc.
However, when I visited Shanghai by the end of 2017, it totally changed: people are strictly driving by following traffic rules, even more strictly than that in North America.
This is a driving trip across Shanghai, from south west corner to north east corner. Along the way, we also visited some old residential areas built around 60's-80's. Now you can get some ideas how driving in Shanghai feels like.
