My first time to explore the remains of the Taiwanese fishing boat, Yung Pen, which lies only a few metres below the surface in Owhiro Bay, Wellington, New Zealand. Scuba diving to the wreck site is very easy as it's not far from the shore. Although there is not much left of the wreck to see and it is mostly overgrown, it is still an enjoyable dive site.
This area is within the marine reserve which means you are not allowed to take/kill any marine life. Unfortunately I came across a few harvested paua shells.
