The working principle of an automatic sawing machine is as follows:

Material Loading

First of all, the logs or timber to be sawn are loaded onto the feeding conveyor or work platform of the machine. Some machines may have clamping devices to firmly hold the wood in place to ensure its stability during the sawing process.

Cutting Operation

The main cutting part of the automatic sawing machine is equipped with a saw blade. The saw blade rotates at a high speed driven by a motor. There are usually different types of saw blades depending on the specific cutting requirements, such as circular saw blades or band saw blades.

When the wood is in the right position, the feeding mechanism starts to work and slowly pushes the wood towards the rotating saw blade at a set speed. The saw blade cuts through the wood along a preset path. Some advanced automatic sawing machines can adjust the cutting angle and depth according to programmed instructions to achieve various cutting shapes and sizes.

Output and Monitoring

After being cut, the sawn pieces of wood are conveyed out through an output conveyor or are collected in a designated area. Meanwhile, the machine is often equipped with sensors and monitoring systems. These sensors can detect parameters like the position of the wood, the speed of the saw blade, and the feeding speed. If any abnormal situation occurs, such as excessive vibration or a jam in the cutting process, the monitoring system will trigger an alarm and may even stop the machine automatically to ensure the safety and proper operation of the whole sawing process.
