1968 Red Sox - highlights of various games (EDITED) Includes season-opener vs. Tigers in Detroit

Описание: This is a video of highlights from various games from the 1968 Red Sox season, broadcast on WHDH TV in Boston, with Ken Coleman and Ned Martin on play by play and Mel Parnell on analysis.
These highlights have been out there on Major League Baseball channels, and God bless whomever saved them, but I have found that in those collections the games, and the individual plays, don't often appear in chronological order, there is tons of duplication, and at times the audio and video are out of sync.
This was my attempt to grab most of the games that are out there from 1968 and make them much easier to watch, a true labor of love. I've done the same thing for the 1969, 1970, and 1971 collections. (Note: Individual player highlights for these seasons, for Yaz, Tony C, etc., and longer game broadcasts can be found elsewhere on my channel.)

Enjoy watching Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, along with Rico Petrocelli, Reggie Smith, George Scott, Ken Harrelson, Mike Andrews and the other fine players - also on the opposition - from that fondly recalled era.
