Cold Thai Noodle Salad! Fast and Fresh! Noreen's Kitchen

Описание: Greetings! My daughter Molly enjoys a simple cold sesame noodle salad that we sometimes get at a local grocery store deli. She asked me if we could make our own so I set out to meet the challenge. This one is a bit different from the one we sometimes purchase which is really only seasoned with soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, red peppers and sesame seeds. I thought it might be fun to give this a Thai twist, seeing as I had all the ingredients on hand.

These noodles stand on their own, they can be eaten right away, warm or cold you could serve these on a bed of greens with some cucumber and shredded carrots along with some cold grilled meat like chicken or steak or you can just eat them by themselves. They are simple, delicious and satisfying.

Don't be scared at the number of ingredients or the amount of dressing this makes. The ingredients all work together to make the perfect combination of flavors and achieve what is called Umami or perfect balance and all that dressing is going to be soaked up by those warm noodles.

If you plan to make this with leftover spaghetti, you may want to cut back the amount of dressing you use, because leftover noodles are not going to absorb as much dressing as hot freshly cooked noodles will.
