The Magic of Norway in a Van: Cozy Camping, Cooking & Relaxing in the North | Full-Time Van Life

Описание: After surviving Arctic blizzards and months of snow, I finally head south for a new kind of van life: fjords, forests, dirt roads, and the freedom of summer. Many viewers say this Van Life video feels oddly relaxing — a cinematic van life story that doubles as a calming escape. Some even fall asleep to it. Not full ASMR but very relaxing.

This is the first episode of my 2025 full-time Van Life Tour through the Nordics & Scandinavia — and it begins in the south of Norway, deep in the fjords and mountains, far from the brutal winter storms.

I follow in the footsteps of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s “The Long Way Home” (Apple TV+) as I explore remote roads and peaceful camps. My roots run deep in this region — my family has a tiny cabin just before Lysefjord — and I’m excited to slow down, cook, relax, and embrace this new rhythm of van life. You might recognize places from Scandinavia with Simon Reeve on BBC as well.
