Just a quick little upload; the Rarities compilation from 1983 is still the only release to include this, which is the binaural tape used when mastering the single. Isolate the left channel and you get a dedicated mono mix without the overdubs.
These were sent out to different countries with instructions for how to fold it properly to get the intended mono single mix (roughly 80% left, 20% right).
These notes were either lost, disregarded or misunderstood when the Dutch release was cut, which made the overdubs in the right channel VERY prominent (roughly 40% left, 60% right).
