Clinical Data Standards Overview

Описание: As informatics pharmacists, we typically serve as a liaison between our clinical and technical stakeholders. If the former spoke in the language of practice guidelines and the latter spoke in the language of SQL, those of us in informatics must speak in the language of clinical data standards.

In all seriousness, clinical data standards are something that we should all be aware of as we build information systems. In this video, I hope to provide a brief overview of the three you’ll likely encounter: RxNorm, SNOMED-CT, and LOINC.
