In this guitar tutorial, I’ll teach you how to play an acoustic version of In the End by Linkin Park, adapted from the band’s iconic nu-metal hit. This arrangement works beautifully on acoustic guitar while keeping the song’s emotional impact intact. The lesson is taught in flat tuning (each string tuned down a half step), just like the original, and I’ll also show you how to play the main piano riff adapted for guitar so you can capture the song’s instantly recognizable hook. Along with the riff, I’ll guide you through the chord progressions, strumming patterns, and transitions so you can perform it solo or with vocals. An interesting fact about In the End is that despite Chester Bennington initially disliking the song, it went on to become one of Linkin Park’s biggest hits and a defining track of the early 2000s.
