I go over Thinkorswim Thinkscript coding concepts involving how to translate hours to bars in any time period, how to draw plots as a percentage of another value (50%, 61.8%, etc.) and how to give the users of your study choices for how they want to use it in different conditions. Also how to set good default colors choices that allow users to change colors within parameters you set.
I was wrong about the emulator mode spike percent using peak to trough EMA, it uses the ATR EMA as a percentage of peak to trough. In other words, the candle height EMA as a percentage of the peak to trough height needs to be less than the user input spike percent before it will draw a new fib, i.e. when price action slows.
