Algoma Central Railway is in its last year of operation. Wisconsin Central will take the railroad over on February 1st 1995. There was a morning train out of the Sault to Hawk Junction. Here the train will be broken into different locals, leaving a few hours later for paper mills, CP interchange at Franz, CN interchange at Oba, and ONR interchange at Hearst. It sure was a great loss of this fantastic railroad.
