~ Recipe ~
█ Naan Style Pizza Dough █
• 2.5 cups bread flour (reserve ¼ to ½ cup for dusting)
• ½ cup Siggi’s 0% plain skyr
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 TBSP yeast
• Olive oil for cooking (about 2 TSP per naan)
Mix the warm water, skyr and yeast in a measuring cup or bowl. Let the yeast bloom for 5 minutes until there are visible bubbles on top.
In a mixing bowl, add 1.25 cups of flour to the water, skyr, and yeast. Stir until a very sticky mass forms. Gradually add the remaining .75-1 cup of flour until a shaggy dough ball forms.
Knead the dough in the bowl until it pulls away from the side. Cover and let rest until the dough doubles in size (around 90 minutes).
Turn dough onto a floured counter and knead 10-15 times. Cut the dough into 8 rounds. Roll out each round until it is very thin, about 1/8 inch thick. Drizzle 1 TSP of olive on one side.
TO ASSEMBLE AND COOK PIZZA:
Put the olive oil side down in a ripping hot pan (medium high heat) and cover for 1 minute until bubbles form. Turn the heat down to low. Drizzle 1 TSP olive oil on the other side and flip.
Add the toppings below and throw into the broiler on high for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
█ Toppings & Sauce █
Sauce:
• 1/4 cup Siggi’s 0% plain skyr
• 1 TSP of Harissa
Mix Siggi’s and Harissa in a bowl until combined.
Protein:
• ½ pound Ground Bison (Or any other protein)
• Salt & Pepper to Taste
• 2 TSP spice mix (1 TBSP Cumin, 1 TSP Smoked Paprika, ½ TSP Cloves, ½ TSP Cinnamon)
Mix bison and spice mix, and brown the meat in a medium heat pan.
Other Toppings:
• ¼ cup sliced Onions
• ½ cup Mozzarella
• 1 TBSP Fresh Dill (sprinkle on after done cooking)
