Battle of The Shades is a level initially built by GD Virus in 2.0 as an Easy Demon. It gained popularity after KrmaL (Krazyman50) uploaded a showcase of the level. However, some people didn't like it and left angry comments, leading GD Virus to update the level by deleting everything that was there before.

Phase 1 — As mentioned earlier, the first phase of this level is an easy demon that was built in version 2.0 at that time by an inexperienced GD Virus. Macro by ‪@17points‬

Phase 2 — The goal of this level (in my opinion) was to answer at the haters of previous phase. The difficulty level itself is a medium demon. Macro by ‪@17points‬

Phase 3 — The most famous phase of this level. In terms of difficulty, the level was ~top 5 of that time. The level itself was a buggy layout with secret way at the beginning. Macro by ‪@17points‬

Phase 4 — A big quality jump from Phase 3, now a proper layout for a top Extreme Demon at the time, with some great unrealized potential for decoration. Macro by ‪@17points‬

Phase 5 — The most recent (and possibly last) version of the level, this time fully decorated, and also used to promote Virus' new Steam game. Possibly could be verified as a Top 10 Extreme Demon in the future, or along those levels of difficulty. Macro by ‪@Fwennec‬
