The grand stage that celebrates those who work for the people and the hopes of tomorrow is the prestigious 'Ananda Vikatan Nambikkai Viruthu Vizha' (Ananda Vikatan Trust Awards). The 2024 edition of the Nambikkai Awards ceremony was held on April 26 at Chennai’s Kalaivanar Arangam, offering many moments of interest.
A total of 21 awards were presented, including the "Perunthamizhar" (Great Tamilian) award, the Top 10 Most Trusted Individuals, and the Top 10 Most Trusted Youth. The event was hosted engagingly by anchors Anita Sampath and Muthukumaran! The evening began on a melodious note with a Yaazh (ancient Tamil harp) concert by the ‘Uru Paanar’ group and a Nadaswaram performance by the couple Sheikh Meqabhoob Subani and Kalisha Bee Meqabhoob, offering a musical treat to the ears.
