Mundali Bridge is a 5.1 mile (12,000-step) route located near Cuttack, Odisha, India. There is a barrage viewpoint just opposite the Odisha Maritime Museum and we saw the beautiful expanse of river and barrage from it. The view is very beautiful and serene.
It's not only a bridge for communication and transport but also a barrage for control of river water
This river barrage is one of the shortest routes to Choudwar, one of the small City of Cuttack District. Besides the way to Choudwar it also connects another road to JAGATPUR and Kendrapara road.
This barrage is built on Mahanadi which flows through Cuttack and it works as a bridge as well as for irrigation purposes.

The road along the river is a great place for morning walks. A variety of street food is available along the road and at the viewing point.
Early morning and evening you may buy fresh fish, prawns over the bridge, which is sold by the local fishermen
