Описание: Today we are discussing important changes in the Nonimmigrant Visa process. Starting September 2, 2025, new rules for attending visa interviews will take effect. Most applicants — including those in E-1, F-1, H-1B, L-1, O-1, and similar categories — will now be required to attend an in-person interview, even for renewals.
Children under 14 and adults over 79 will no longer be exempt, and only certain B-1/B-2 renewals and official or diplomatic visa applicants will remain eligible for interview waivers. Longer wait times are expected, so it is recommended to apply early and carefully follow the instructions on your consulate’s website.
