After running a few tutorials, using online guides to fill in the blanks a bit, then having a brief window of 1 to 1 tuition with kr0nic (our Discord’s resident MirageMan), I felt like I knew enough to take to the skies in PVP.
One thing I’ll definitely be changing for next time, is my forward and aft weapon command switches, because MirageMan told me I wouldn’t need one of them because it related to radar assisted terrain avoidance (it doesn’t) and the other was all ACM modes - which is not the case.
One is for horizontal and the other is for vertical ACM modes.
So I went into this without vertical ACM modes mapped, and was trying to use horizontal ones as if they were vertical ones… You can probably imagine how well that went.
Regardless, I feel like I did relatively well considering I had probably less than 3 hours total on the airframe by the end of it.
