Southern Television's very last start-up, from Thursday 31 December 1981. The announcer is Verity Martindill, and the music is 'Southern Rhapsody' by Richard Addinsell.
No mention at start-up that it was Southen's final day, and just a standard backdrop in the continuity booth, however later in the day a special backdrop was introduced.
