Cleaning my Lahome 64mm burr grinder for the first time after using it for over a month! This is my first time opening the burr chamber and seeing the burrs up close — and wow, I’m impressed.
One feature I really love is the unique 3-point alignment system on the upper burr holder. It fits together like a puzzle, so you can’t put it back incorrectly. Super beginner-friendly and well-designed.
This grinder is also surprisingly low retention. I’ve used around 4–5 different beans, from espresso to filter roasts, and there’s barely any coffee left inside. The lower design definitely helps keep retention minimal.
Overall, I’m keeping this grinder and highly recommend it to home baristas who want great performance on a budget. Excited to eventually learn more about burr alignment and maybe upgrade the burrs later on.
