April 20th:
In the morning we drive west from the Socalco Nature Calheta Hotel to the lighthouse »Farol da Ponta do Pargo«. Beautiful, fewer visitors.
Then we continue north. We actually wanted to take the Achadas da Cruz cable car. However, due to technical problems, the cable car was out of service.
So we continue to Porto Moniz. Very beautiful.
A swim in the natural sea pools is so relaxing / water temperature: 19 °
The aquarium and the fortress are also worth a visit.
Next short photo stop: Praia da Ribeira da Janela
In the afternoon we swim in Seixal; there is a sandy beach there!
Then we continue to Sao Vicente, where we visited the baroque church and the chapel of Saint Fatima on Madeira, which is located on top of a hill.
