For the third consecutive day, the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly witnessed chaos over the resolution seeking to reinstate immediate restoration of special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The session was marked by shouting matches, physical confrontations, and a walkout by the BJP after several members of the party jumped into the well of the house and were eventually marshalled out. Meanwhile, BJP held its assembly session on the lawns of the Legislative Assembly after many of its legislators were either forced out or walked out in protest. They were demanding the withdrawal of a resolution on Jammu and Kashmir's special status.
