Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko - 100% Full Game (?) - Gex Trilogy - PS5 Pro - No Commentary

Описание: Okay so technically this might not be 100%, but I got the "Gexpert" Platinum Trophy. This footage includes every Remote. The things I didn't do aren't treated like they matter for completion by the game itself or by the PS5 achievement list.

I would have gotten everything, but I softlocked myself out of my save file because Limited Run Games gutted the original save systems of these games and you can only save using save states. I was careful during my playthroughs of all three games, but at the last moment I forgot and created a new save state during the Remote select screen of the final boss. Once you beat the game it resets into a fresh empty file. I have no desire to play through the whole game again. Too many annoying 100 Fly Coin missions. Gex 2 did most things including collectibles better.

Not sure why they removed the original save methods. Plenty of emulated games feature both native saving and save states. Why not these?

I got most of the Paw Coins, which become useless after you max out Gex's health. I got most of the Bonus Coins, of which you only need enough to unlock every bonus stage, which only unlock cheats. I may have missed doing one or two Bonus Bonanzas but they all repeat at least once so the repeats aren't much different.

First time playing PS1/Trilogy version. Rented the N64 version a few times as a kid but never got far.
100% playthrough. (Sorta?)
Played during June-July 2025.
Played digitally on PS5 Pro.
Controller used: DualSense Wireless Controller

Cuts were made to the footage to remove time spent paused and times where levels were reset. Loading times were also shortened a bit.
