Budget Motorized Upgrade for the Lyman Universal Case Trimmer

I added a sewing machine motor with foot-pedal control to my Lyman Universal Case Trimmer as a low-cost upgrade.

The goal was to eliminate the extra hand movements involved in picking up a drill and holding the trigger while trimming. Case trimming is already one of the more monotonous steps in the reloading process, and this setup makes it noticeably smoother and faster.

With foot control, both hands stay on the case and cutter, improving consistency and reducing fatigue. The motor provides steady torque and speed without the on/off jerking common with handheld drills.

This is a straightforward modification. Anyone with basic mechanical skills and common tools should be able to complete it without much trouble, and most of the parts can be sourced cheaply.
