DARNELL is a Chicago-born fusion artist blending contemporary vocals with classical training to create a singular sound rooted in symphonies, jazz, pop, R&B, and a cappella. “Letter From Your Future Self” is the last track on his mixtape “letting go” which is raw and fearless; confronting abuse, healing, and shame through deeply therapeutic lyricism. As a professional vocalist with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Arts and Opera from USC, DARNELL also performs classical music and musical theater while thriving as a session singer. His voice appears on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Creed III, Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up,” and on live projects with Disney, Jennifer Hudson, Hozier, and Pentatonix.
