Assignment Title: “My Terumah Plan – Hosting His Presence in My Sphere”
Step 1 – Honest Inventory (10–15 minutes)
Take time alone with God. Ask:
• “Where have I been giving out of pressure instead of a willing heart?”
• “Where have I been withholding what You’ve asked me to contribute—time, money, skill, or attention?”
Write down what the Ruach shows you.
Step 2 – Choose One Sphere
Pick one main sphere to focus on this week:
• Family / Home
• Business / Work
• Congregation / Ministry
• Community / Neighborhood
Ask: “What does it look like to offer a Terumah—a willing, generous contribution—in this sphere?”
Step 3 – Define Your Terumah
Identify one concrete offering this week. For example:
• Family: Commit to a weekly family Shabbat meal with Scripture and prayer.
• Business: Set aside a portion of profit for Kingdom purposes or bless an employee in need.
• Ministry: Volunteer in a quiet, unseen role that supports others.
• Community: Offer practical help or hospitality to a neighbor or someone in need.
Write it down, including date and time.
Step 4 – Integrity Check (Link to Matthew 5:33–37)
Make one simple commitment to honesty in your words this week:
• “This week, I will not exaggerate or overpromise in _________.”
• “This week, my ‘yes’ and ‘no’ will be clear and truthful in _________.”
Step 5 – Reflect
At the end of the week, journal briefly:
• What did I offer as my Terumah?
• How did it affect me?
• How did it affect others?
• What is God inviting me to make ongoing, not just a one-time act?
