Padwal / snake gourd stuff veggie tastes too good. Many people may not be like it but the way you prepare the veggie should be unique and everything is invented by nature has so useful n value added and hence we should eat all veggies. That's why I brought this Padwal sabji in a different way for all of you. So do try once and you will love it.
Ingredients:-
1/4 th kg. Snake gourd.
1 cup besan / chickpea flour.
2 tbsp. Oil for stuffing.
2-3 tbsp.oil for seasoning.
1 big onion chopped finely.
1-2 tsp. Roasted cuminseed powder.
3-4 tsp. Coriander powder.
1 tsp. Amchur powder.
1 tsp. Lemon juice.
3-4 tsp. Red chilli powder.
1 tsp. Turmeric/ haldi.
1 tsp. Asefotidea.
1 tsp. Sugar to taste.
Salt as per requirement.
2tsp. Goda masala.
Grinded seeds of Padwal/ snake gourd.
Procedure:-
1. Wash the snake gourd cleanly and cut it into 1 -1 inces pieces, and remove the seeds from it and keep it aside don't throw away.
2. In a vessel keep the water to boil and add some salt to it and pour all pieces of Padwal to boil for 3-4 mins.
3. Meanwhile in a pan or kadhai get roasted 1 cup besan dry only till it's colour changes. And allow it to cool.
4. Take out boiled Padwal in one strainer and keep to drain it.
5. In a bowl add besan now n 1 big finely chopped onion and the masalas which is shown and in the given proportion. Give a nice mix to this mixture of besan.
6. Next step is to stuff all the Padwal pieces by both the sides tightly without breaking it.
7. Take a frying pan, add 2-3 tbsp. Oil, let it heat and splatter the mustard seeds, asefotidea n haldi powder. Then add all stuffed Padwal and cover it and after every 3-4 mins give check and change its sides in between till it done.
8. After 12 -15 mins over give final check with a spoon as shown in video whether our Padwal is cooked and if it is done off the flame and take it down.
Stuffed Padwal is ready and serve it with chapati or fulka paratha any as you wish.
