We had been working on a freerun for a long time (THI to Castle Lobby to WF), then I heard this song and felt inspired to work on another freerun. So, I made the BoB freerun in one day/night. During that time, Dennis had mentioned to me on Skype that his birthday was coming up (in a conversation about SM64 HUD, lol). I ran through some ideas in my head and came up with using both freeruns, but chopping them up to change the pace and keep everything feeling new and exciting (Did it work? ;)). I also wanted to attempt to "sync up" Mario to the music for a bit of subconscious entertainment value, haha.

Speaking of the music, I hope you like the song choice! It's from Omnitica's new release titled "I Call It Progstep." He was nice enough to personally let me use track 6, "Lirim's Beat," for free and I can't thank him enough for that.
