Definitely a sequel that felt like a genuine upgrade over it's predecessor, Alien Breed 2 is one of a select number of titles that made 1993 the 'last hurrah' for the Amiga.
While I owned the OCS version for my A500, T17 also released an AGA version for the A1200 and compatible machines. Since it has better visuals, this is the version I opted to record.
For those of you wondering why my ammunition magazine count never appears to decrease, you can carry more spare ammo magazines than the UI displays. The game is actually a lot more generous with both ammo and credits than the prequel, so this is certainly a positive aspect.
The gameplay is solid, and Rico Holmes' artwork is excellent!
