Here I’m installing a Bowtie, Butterfly, Inlay or a dutchman.
The purpose of the Bowtie is to stabilize a crack in the woodwork or to add beauty and character to the wood piece.
Its really a straight forward method that I think most people over think and it can be done in 10 minutes.
It’s a great new skill to add to your woodworking experience.
I love how the hairpin legs really help the live edge round stand out.
I’m using 2 Coats of Watco Natural Danish Oil for the finish.
