Six surviving episodes from the twelfth series of the radio comedy panel show My Word, originally broadcast on the BBC Home Service in spring 1964. All feature Frank Muir, Denis Norden, Dilys Powell and host Jack Longland; the first two also posthumously feature Nancy Spain, who was killed in a plane crash en route to the 1964 Grand National on 21st March. Anne Scott-James replaces Spain from the third episode on.
Due to the unchanging cast and paucity of info on recordings, it's difficult to determine the sequence of My Word episodes even with radio listings, so some guesswork has been used in the arrangement of this omnibus.
