Newcastle Quilt Show 2025

Описание: Hi everyone and welcome to Sassenach Quilts at The Cloth House.

We are based in the rolling countryside of Northumberland, UK and started our quilting journey in the summer of 2020. Like many folk we made over 500 masks and face coverings and I didn’t know what to do with the left over fabric.
As I had made many clothes over the years I wasn’t scared of the sewing machine, and after a few YouTubes searches I found dear Donna Jordan, and she taught me to quilt via her YouTubes.
So, my journey into quilting began !!
I now have my own HandiQuilter MoxieXL longarm, a dedicated sewing room where I sew, quilt and design my projects.

Today join us as we go to the Newcastle Quilt Show at Gosforth Park Race Course.

We’ll show you the wee haul that I’ve added to my stash and explain the intended projects, and then afterwards we’ll let you explore some of the exhibition quilts with us. All the info on the quilts are also shown, so don’t hesitate to pause so you can read the artists comments.
