So, roamers. I was keen to explore the areas around Marrakesh and decided on a 6 night side trip to Imlil. The hiking gateway to Mount Toubkal, the second highest mountain in Africa. There are also a lot of beautiful walks to do around Imlil, visiting the local villages and enjoying the cool mountain air. Apparently, you need a guide as soon as you set foot outside your accommodation? I was quoted 300+ dirhams a day to be shown around locally. So, i decided to challenge this village "rule", save myself some money and use good old google maps. I had a fantastic time! I
